The Punch clock software for OroTimesheet is a complementary software to OroTimesheet (licenses sold separately) and allows you to install (or replace) an electronic punch clock for your factory.

The Punch clock software is usually installed on a computer in your factory or shop and employees punch in and punch out from this computer. As for the OroTimesheet software, it is simply used to create your employees, your jobs (projects) and activities, convert punch clock transactions into timesheets, print reports or even more.

The punch clock software can be configured in several ways. The simplest way is that each employee just have to enter their PIN (Personal Identification Number) (optional) when they punch. However, if you want, you could force them to select a project (or enter a job number) and even select an activity each time they punch in.

The punch clock software can run in stand-alone mode as well as in multi-user mode. For example, you could install the punch clock software on several computers in your factory. So, your employees could punch in and out from any computer and all data would be always saved in the same centralized database.

Please, note that the punch clock software was specifically developed to be used with a touch screen monitor. However, if you don't have touch screen monitor, the punch clock software works as well with a normal monitor and a mouse.
