| The information in this article applies to : GDS 2000 (English) GDS 2000 (French) OroGesTemps 3.x (English) OroGesTemps 3.x (French) Description When I try to start the application under Windows 2000, the application doesn't start, but if I look in the "Task manager" the application is listed.
Solution This problem occurs when the application is started under Windows 2000 and the user currently logged at the computer doesn't have enough rights to read and write to the registry under the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Under Windows NT, if the user is member of the group "Users", the user has enough rights to read and write to the registry. Under Windows 2000, the user must be at least member of the group "Power Users" to be able to read and write to the registry under the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. If the user under Windows 2000 is only member of the group "Users", the user will not be able to read and write to the registry. Status OK |
