When I run GDS 2000, I get the following message:
"An error occured while opening the database."

Description

Sometimes, when GDS 2000 is terminated abnormally, some temporary files cannot be erased. These files have the extension ".LCK". The next time you try to run GDS 2000, it's possible GDS 2000 will not be able to open the database because of these temporary files.

Solution

Erase all the files with the extension ".LCK" from the data folder of GDS 2000, usually C:\Program Files\OroLogic\GDS 2000\Data, and from the program folder of GDS 2000 usually C:\Program Files\OroLogic\GDS 2000.

Run GDS 2000, the problem should be fixed.
